Latest Pattern and Kit releases Jan/Feb 2019

Well it’s been a very exciting start to the year with the designers we represent bringing out some absolutely awesome new patterns to play with. Here are the highlights of the first 8 weeks of the year!

We start with one of our new designers Maggy 55 and the release of the fabulous Voyage handbag. Maggy 55 has a world of experience in leather and her patterns provide some very valuable insight into how to manage this amazing material. However they can also be made in fabrics. Welcome Maggy 55 to the Betty Box Pleat Kits by Designer.

Bag of the Month Club is off to a cracking start with Sewing patterns by Mrs H presenting the Ring Sling during January and followed by the Out and About from By Annie’s (also famous for providing the world with Soft n Stable!) Our hardware kits cover all 3 months of this years Jan-March Bag of the month club making it easy to manage.

The fabulous Lisa of Andrie Designs has released this gorgeous Classic Market Tote. This design was featured in the Quilters Companion Magazine (issue #92 2018) – So Exciting!! You will love the interplay of colours you can create with this design!

Then there’s the Stacks On Duffle Bag from Little Moo Designs, a great pattern for a super quick make and without a lot of complicated technique it’s perfect for those new to bag making.

Another exciting upcoming event here in Australia is a purse framing class by Lynne from BagsbyLynWam. Lynne is one if Australia’s premier purse frame creators and it’s so fabulous she’s opening the studio doors to teach others how to make their own. Will be one to attend for sure.

The awesome Erin of Dog Under My Desk has released another sensational pattern with the Daily Duffel. I do love how Erin plans out her instructions, loads of photos and clarity I’m a big fan! The Daily Duffel is highly structured and there’s some interesting technique in there as well.

The Tallulah Mini Hipster is just out from RLR Creations, this one is perfect for on the run situations keeping all your essentials in one compact spot. The gorgeous cover girl was created by fabulous Aussie creator Tanya from Tan Made Australia. Love!

Lastly and very excitedly we have ALL the patterns from the Carried Away Pattern Collectives being released at the same time! This is a first and it’s fabulous! The other great news Alicia from Swoon Sewing Patterns and Celine of Blue Calla Sewing Patterns will be back later this year for another 6 months of the collective. All the hardware kits have been placed into the respective designers sections in store.

As with all our Kits by Designer listings, you will find a link within each listing that will take you to the designers website so that you can purchase the PDF patterns directly. Our kits are put together with love and it’s our honour to be supporting these and many more designers with the shiny parts needed to make their fabulous handbag patterns.
